Ok, just in case you guys don't have anything to do at 2pm today (and Jenn if you want to come out!) I'm playing in a kickball tournament for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I'm not sure how long my team will last, but it should be amusing nontheless.

Its at Alma School and Southern pretty much, If you're on Southern, go North on Extension, it'll be a park on your left side, and its past 5th Ave. I know these are shitty directions, but don't worry about not showing up, its going to be a hot one today.

Otherwise come over to Ziggy and Erika's afterwards for a bbq.

So the karokee party is in full form right now. I'm a tad wasted right now, hence the update. If anyone wants to see me play kickball on Sunday, let me know, and i'll give you directions. It should be entertaining.

I heart jana and shane!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIKA!!!
Saturday, April 30th, 2005 @ 10:36am
I'd just like to say a public happy birthday to one of the best people in the world, Erika.

You rock harder than you ever knew!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of birthdays...

Your Birthdate: November 13

Being born on the 13th day of the month should help make you a better manager and organizer, but it may also give you a tendency to dominate people a bit.

You may be more responsible and self-disciplined than you realize.

Sincere and honest, you are a serious, hard working individual.

Your feeling are likely to seem somewhat repressed at times.

You are apt to be much more practical, rational, and conscious of details.

Your intolerance and insistence on complete accuracy can be irritating to some.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, I had a great day. Amazing, actually.

Oh you want pictures?

Ok, but you also have to look at the tailgating party pictures as well. Yes thats right, I drank my ass off on my birthday and then got up and went tailgating and drank in the parking lot outside of Sun Devil Stadium.

Enjoy

Picture Time!

So when you can't pay cell phone bill, and then forget to do it when you can, they turn it off. Amazing concept. But don't you worry, its paid and awaiting to be returned to full service. So if anyone wants to contact me until then, email me.

The trip:

Well, I'm not going to go into detail, because really, everyone has described it so wonderfully, that my description would only see repetitive, so go look at my friends page.

I will tell you this, I have discovered another reason not to vote for President bush, the goddamn president made Fazzi and I miss our flight on Thursday morning. The bastard couldn't have left on Wednesday night, no no no. The most opportune time was at 9 am, and they literally closed all entrances into the airport. It all worked out and we got on the same flight as Ziggy and Erika, and the debauchery began.

Cleveland was a fucking blast. In fact, despite one minor drunken Fazzi moment, I had the best time ever. I guess the way to make Cleveland actually rock is gathering up all the AZ kids, all the RI kids, mix them with Jana and Shane's wedding and Cleveland seems like the best city ever.

Until the next day, when the hangover renders you incapacitated. But thats ok, because all you need is a day in bed with Natalie and Jeff, some pizza, and really bad movies on TBS.

Here are the first round of pictures, more to come...

Cleveland Rocks!

Is anyone else starting to freak out that we are all going to be in one place this weekend for the wedding of the century? Cleveland is not going to know what the hell hit them!

And whats this about the Foo Fighters playing at Tempe Beach Park for free on Wednesday for the debate? I might have to check that out. I was planning on avoiding my house the whole evening seeing as how I live 1/2 mile away from it, and really don't feel like dealing with the traffic and idiotic people, but mayhaps I will...

So for Fazzi's birthday, I bought tickets to go see Mitch Hedberg... if anyone wants to know how the show went Read this very accurate review.

Other than that Elizabeth and I spent an evening at Casey's on Friday, and even after much pleading, a promise of all the free alcohol I could consume (or a few beers, I can't remember), I sent her over to Dos Gringos by herself where apparently she got by just fine.

Saturday I had two parties where my presence was demanded. I still wasn't feeling well, but after phone calls were made to me, pleading that I attend, I dragged myself out of the house. I gave Mona a fantastic mixed cd, and I must say, I make one hell of a mixed cd sometimes.

Sunday I joined Zarika at the G Love show, and it was awesome. There is more, but I'm not going to tell. I did find out however that night my car was dead, although I didn't see any lights that I had left on.

Monday, Fazzi came by to pick me up in order to go jump poor Leo. I know how Leo hates not sleeping at home, but he's quite familiar with the street outside of Ziggy and Erika's, so I wasn't too worried. We would have gotten him right then, but Fazzi and I got sidetracked by an impromptu road trip to Wickenburg. Struck by the oddity that we had both driven through there on the way to vegas, yet neither of us had ever gotten out to explore the fine offerings of the little town. It probably would have been a more fruitful trip had we actually gotten to Wickenburg before 4, because apparently the whole town shuts down at 2pm, except for the cute little train depot which is now the chamber of commerce and the circle K that was surrounded by bees, making it extremely difficult to enter without ending up like Macaulay Culkin's character in My Girl. Its a cute town though, and perhaps when the river forest preserve and mining town open, there will be a repeat trip.

When we got home, we jumped Leo, and drove to Walmart to buy headlight bulbs for both our respective cars, and I get back into my increasingly difficult car (did I mention he has an oil leak too?) only to find it dead again. Contemplating the next course of action, and me groaning that I can't afford an alternator right now, we jumped him again, and went to Fazzi's to figure it out. After about an hour, we tried the car again. Starts purring like a kitten... Ok, my car doesn't purr like a kitten, when idling, it sounds more like a tiger growling loudly, but nevertheless, he's starting now.

I'm expecting everything to go fine until I need to go to work tomorrow. So goes my life.

The one good thing that comes out of my self depricating, pity party that I like to throw myself way to often, is that I realize how my friends are geniunely nice people, and they actually do like me for who I am.... no matter how god damn difficult I am. So thanks...

I don't know what it is but tonight, all of a sudden, it actually started feeling like the summer has turned into fall.

Now, I know I live in Arizona, and this feeling shouldn't start creeping in until at least the end of November, but things just smelled different tonight. I can mainly chalk this up to the rainy weather, but even my delicious fat tire (which I have not consumed in awhile) smelled like four peaks pumpkin ale, and it just felt comforting. It was slightly chilly tonight (weatherchannel.com claims its 74 right now) and I had problems sitting inside due to the air and the tank top I was wearing, and outside was a bit better, but I still had goose bumps. Its nice to think that I could be comfortable with a long sleeved shirt on (only at night of course, during the day, its still about 100 out).

The pixies are tomorrow, and I'm so excited. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to go because of my procrastination and the fact that tickets sold out, but due to the infinity goddess, aka Elizabeth, I have a ticket. Fazzi sold me his extra ticket so I could give to Leslie for her birthday. So the plan is to meet up with Zarika and rock out in mormonland aka Mesa and enjoy a hopefully fantastic show. I never thought I'd ever get to see the Pixies live.

This weekend was actually a very pleasant one. We celebrated Leslie's 30th birthday, and it was nice to see all the people that came out to celebrate for her. I think she needed that, she was surprised by how many people came out.

So I hope all of your weekends went well, and you had lots of fun.

P.S. Elizabeth and Erika, thank you for putting up with me, I know its hard
